Had an amazing party! All the girls – and the adults were mesmerised! They took the time to find out exactly what my daughter wanted for her art party and then brought all the equipment and materials! They managed to get all of the girls attention and imagination without it seeming formal. They made each of the girls feel special for their efforts and gave them hints and tips to improve their artwork. Thank you maxwell and Scott for a fabulous party – and thank you for letting the adults join in too!

This fantastic company came to do my little girl’s first birthday party, and it was incredible! The little ones were completely hypnotised by the story telling of The Gruffalo, the music, puppets and props. I’ve never seen 15 babies sit so still for so long! The activities were perfectly tailored too – the Gruffalo mosaic, footprint stamps and cone painting were our firm favourites. All in all, a really thought through and seamlessly executed day. Perfect. I’d recommend to all.

My daughter really enjoys her Wednesday afternoon workshop,especially all the creative things she gets to make,its hard to get her to come home afterwards.

I went to the paper cutting event on the 16th December at Stir Cafe cambridge with my friend, her mum and cute baby! When we got there the Maxwell and Scott team were there to greet us and made us feel welcome. When we had got our coffees and teas we were shown into a private room where the papercutting took place. Alice (the papercutting genius) took us through the basic skills we needed to know to paper cut effectively and then we were able to try out these new techniques on practice sheets of paper with lovely Christmas designs on them. ( I kept some of my practice ones because I liked the designs so much!) After that, she took us through how to create our own papercutting designs and we were set free to experiment and create what we wanted under her expert guidance. Everyone was very friendly and helpful! I would recommend anyone who wants to have a creative evening to come to a maxwell and scott event – my friends and I can’t wait for the next one!!
